About
Not another pitch
Most executive search pitches sound very sure of themselves. We would rather describe what fifteen years and over a hundred leadership placements have actually taught us.
A good leadership hire rarely comes out of a long process. It comes out of judgment, sharpened over a decade of relationships with the people who make these decisions and the people who fill them.
How a search actually starts
Every search here starts the same way. A direct message, a short call, an honest read on whether there is a fit at all. It looks simple. It is simple because we have done this enough times to know within minutes what would otherwise take a full assessment cycle to uncover.
What we look for is not a checklist match. It is a kind of alignment that shows up in conversation before it shows up on paper, and after this many searches, that read is reliable. Some of the strongest hires we have placed did not tick every box. They fit anyway, and we knew it early.
Why we skip the theater
Long processes do not necessarily lead to better decisions. Personality tests and extra assessment rounds can make a hiring team feel more certain, but that feeling is not the same as being right, and it comes at a real cost in time and in the candidates you lose along the way.
The market has also shifted. Companies increasingly need leaders who sit somewhere between technology, product and commercial thinking, and knowing who genuinely fits that profile, versus who just interviews well, is exactly the judgment this work is built on.
